Description of equipment

Installation for growing Czochralski-type single crystals ECM Cyberstar Oxypuller 05-03 with inductive heating that allows obtaining crystals with a diameter of up to 2.5 inches and can reach a temperature of over 2000 °C and up to 5kg.

Components:
1. Sealed growth chamber and main frame made of stainless steel. Allows crystal growth in vacuum or controlled atmosphere;
2. Upper pulling system with motorized translation unit with translation rod clamping and guiding system, rotation system and precise measurement of crystal mass;
3. Inductive heating system with cooled coaxial central coil with diameter 200mm;
4. 40KW medium frequency generator;
5. Control unit with software for controlling and monitoring crystal growth parameters;
6. Primary vacuum circuit and primary vacuum pump.

Areas of application:
● Sapphire single crystals used in LED, nuclear radiation detectors and laser production technologies.
● Si single crystals for the PV industry.
● Fluoride single crystals used in the optical field, lasers, solar concentrators.
