The laboratory for non-invasive geophysical investigations includes high-performance electrical tomography (ERT) and seismography investigation systems, georadar investigations, a system for measuring the magnetic susceptibility of sediments, a system for measuring the thermal characteristics of materials.
1. The laboratory of dendrochronology and dendrogeomorphology has as its main objective the realization of studies for the analysis of the spatio-temporal manifestation of geomorphological processes in various geomorphological structures, including phenomena of the type of risk phenomena (avalanches, collapses and stone falls, landslides, etc. )
2. The geoarchaeology laboratory (coupled with the other laboratories) has a modern range of equipment for non-invasive investigations such as the Geometrics G-858G and G-857 G magnetometric investigation system, the Bartington MS2/MS3 sediment magnetic susceptibility measurement system with accessories, GEONICS EM31-MK2 electromagnetic investigation system, Black Hauk metal detector with pulse induction, etc.
3. The laboratory of digital mapping and Geographical Information Systems. The laboratory is equipped with a 3D laser topographic scanning system with integrated GPS RIEGL VZ-1000, DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone, Parrot Anafi Pro PD drone, as well as dedicated computer programs.
