Description of equipment
The Chemical Analysis Service has a staff of three technicians and it counts with the most modern spectrometric techniques, which allow the determination of major, minor, trace and ultra-trace elements in samples from any scientific area. technological. The existing infrastructure in the laboratory allows carrying out both semi-quantitative and quantitative determinations. For this, it uses the following analytical techniques:
Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES)
Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP¬ MS)
The laboratory also has a microwave oven equipped with twelve high-pressure reactors, to carry out acid digestion and dissolution of all those samples that require it.
