Description of equipment

The electroporator is a device used in molecular biology to introduce DNA or other molecules into cells by applying short electrical pulses. These pulses create temporary pores in the cell membranes, thereby facilitating the transfer of genetic material. Electroporation is commonly used in research, gene therapy, and genetic engineering.
