Flow microcalorimeter

The flow microcalorimeter from MICROSCAL Limited, London, is an equipment that can operate under flow-through or static conditions. Under static conditions different kinds of binding events, such as protein-protein, small molecule/ drug-protein, DNA-drug interactions and enzyme kinetics or antibody activity can be studied. Under flow-through conditions FMC provides invaluable insight into biomolecule adsorption processes. The heat of biomolecule adsorption can be dynamically measure at high biomolecule concentration or using highly non-ideal mobile phases.
