APPLICATIONS AND SERVICES
Through controlled experiments, programmed on the computer and incentivized through monetary compensation, in CLOSER it is possible to analyze the behavior of people, their choices, how they respond to different external stimuli, how much they are willing to pay for a possible scenario or to avoid it, their preferences about real and virtual objects, situations, interpersonal interactions, etc.
The variety of applications makes the experimental methodology underlying the center a versatile tool for public and private subjects interested in testing policies that can have a significant impact on individuals and groups (private citizens, workers in the public, private and third sector, individually or in group interaction).
In addition to access to the laboratory, CLOSER offers professional skills in social, political, psychological sciences, marketing, decision theory and economics and statistics. It is possible to associate physiological measurements with behavioral and choice studies, thanks to previous collaborations with the Department of Chemistry.
